Holden Water System Upgrade
The project, Holden Water System Upgrade Project, is being implemented by the Logan County Public Service District and is necessary to provide quality and dependable potable water and fire protection service to approximately 690 residences. The waterline upgrade includes the construction of 65,000 feet of 12-inch or smaller mains, one 1,000,000 million gallon storage tank, one 234,000 gallon storage tank, one 300 gallons per minute booster station, and 45 fire hydrants, valves, and related items. The project replaces an existing deteriorating system and required the existing customers to be kept in service during the construction of the new waterline and facilities.
