Faheem Ahmad, P.E., P.S., S.E.
Mr. Ahmad is an experienced project manager with a track record of managing and delivering projects within budget and on schedule. He has managed all types of projects including design-bid-build, design-build, and value engineering. Mr. Ahmad has a successful track record in alternative delivery methods such as design-build, public-private-partnerships (PPP) and value engineering (VE). He is also DBIA™ Designated Design-Build Professional.
Additionally, Mr. Ahmad has a thorough knowledge of structural analysis, bridge erection techniques, stage construction modeling and analysis for constructibility. He has had extensive experience in directing the preparation of the design, on-site construction engineering, inspection of bridges and structural engineering projects. He has implemented Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) methodology on multiple projects to reduce construction duration and impacts on traffic.
Mr. Ahmad is also experienced with water resources regulations, and permitting requirements. He is proficient in conducting hydrologic and hydraulic (steady flow/unsteady flow/2D-flow) analysis of rivers and streams. Representative projects include FEMA flood studies and map revisions (CLOMR, LOMR), hydrologic studies, floodplain studies, erosion protection design, bridge hydraulics and scour studies. He is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) from the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
