This project was initiated by the Lavalette Public Service District and will extend potable water service to approximately 260 potential customers along U.S. Route 52 and the Hurricane Creek/Little Hurricane Creek areas of Wayne County. The project is estimated to cost 5.9 million dollars and would involve the construction of 25 miles of 8", 6", and 2" waterline, a 108,000 gallon water storage tank, one duplex booster pump station, fire hydrants, valves, meters and other related appurtenances. Construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2005.
