"The Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority (FCCFA) and the City of Columbus jointly engaged ELR to inspect, test, and evaluate the condition of the High-Third Street Connector (Ohio Center Way) bridge structures, which are the primary vehicular access to the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Under this project engagement, ELR also provided the FCCFA with long-range projections of the Capital Expenditure (CapEx) improvement and repairs needed to maintain the condition of these bridge structures.

ELR is hosting a 2-day seminar in Columbus, Ohio, covering micropiles and ground improvment methods, led by Mr. Jerry DiMaggio. The seminar will be held on November 8 and 9, 2016. A certificate for 16 hours of professional development will be furnished at the completion of the seminar. For more information and a registration form, please download the seminar brochure.

Congratulations to Jerry DiMaggio for winning the ASCE 2016 Outstanding Projects And Leaders leadership award for government!

ELR is proud to have worked closely with this remarkable engineer on many interesting projects both in his current position with Applied Research Associates as the principal civil engineer, and while he was at FHWA.


CADDTechnician - E.L. Robinson Engineering Co., a long established and growing Civil Engineering Firm is seeking full-time CADD Technicians for its Beckley and/or Greenbrier County location(s). The applicant should have extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D.  Experience in creating Surfaces, CrossSections, Profiles and Boundary Plats is desired.  Microstation and InRoads experience is a benefit. A competitive salary & benefits including health, ESOP &401(K) are offered.

E L Robinson Engineering, a WV based 125 person design firm is seeking an entry level landscape architect or land planner for the firm’s landscape architectural practice primarily in WV but also supporting our offices in OH and KY. The project types include streetscapes, parks, trails, city and community planning, residential and commercial development and historic preservation.

Duties will also include supporting the transportation and structures engineering staff with illustrations for proposed design features and the marketing staff with web site support and graphics.
